We would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data in the context of Innovation Days.
1. You have the possibility to inform yourself about the event schedule, the presentation topics, the location, and other event details on a website specially programmed for the event. When you use the website for informational purposes only, i.e., if you do not actively provide us with personal data via our contact form or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server. The following data is collected in this process:

b. Information about visits to this website, including access times (including time zone settings and location), pages viewed, URLs clicked, your IP address, and the pages you visited before and after navigating to this website.
This data is technically necessary to display the website to you and to ensure the security of our website. We evaluate this data exclusively for statistical purposes in order to correct possible technical errors and, if necessary, to identify and ward off attacks and security risks.
The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our overriding interest lies in providing the website and ensuring its functionality, as well as protecting it from misuse. Insofar as absolutely necessary access to information stored on the user's terminal equipment takes place, this is also done on the basis of § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG.
2. In addition, you can register for the Innovation Days on a personalized event website using a link that is personalized just for you, and you can create your own event program in advance and book your hotel and shuttle. The following personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

These purposes are essential for the organizer to successfully conduct the event and promote business exchange.
3. Photo and video recordings at events
Photos and videos may be taken during our events. These are used for reporting, documentation, and public relations purposes and may be published in print media, on our website, and on social networks.
Processing is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in presenting our activities and promoting our public image. When weighing up the interests, we have taken into account that the recordings are made exclusively in a public event setting in which participation is voluntary, persons generally appear only as accessories or as part of the crowd, so that they are not the focus of the recordings and there are no particular risks to the rights and freedoms of the persons concerned.
If you do not wish to appear in any recordings, please inform our team on site. Upon request, we will provide you with a badge to indicate that you do not wish to participate in photo and video recordings.
We would also like to inform you of your right to object to processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR. Please contact us at the email address below. Further information on your rights can be found in the privacy policy linked below.
